WFHS Moodle

Attention:  Summer Reading Instructions (http://wfhs-ecsd-fl.schoolloop.com/)

Dear Honors/AP/DE Students:

The following list of books/plays is required summer reading for all WFHS Honors/AP/DE English students this year. Students are only required to read the assigned text(s) for their specific grade level.

Rising freshmen and sophomores must choose one book from the lists provided. Rising juniors and seniors in either AP class must read both selections.

A graded assessment will be given by your English teacher at the beginning of the school year. The assessment could be in the form of a test or a written response and will cover the content of the assigned selections.

These selections can be found at your local bookstores or libraries. We will be contacting Barnes and Nobles and Books-a-Million, as well as local used bookstores, to make sure that materials can be readily available.

Please remember that you can get with other classmates to share copies, or you may visit the public library. These selections have been chosen carefully for both literary merit and age-level appropriateness.

If you have a concern over the content of any of the selections, please contact the appropriate person below. If necessary, an alternate may be assigned.

Happy Summer Reading!

This is a reminder that games (flash games included) of any kind are prohibited at any time on all school computers. This includes games at sites like coolmathgames if they are not assigned to you by your instructor. These games waste network resources, which can cause problems for us and other schools now that we have entered FCAT time.

Students, please remember that flash drives should not be used as the only storage device for your files. Flash drives are great for moving files between your "H" drives here at school and home, however they should not be the only place that you store your files. Flash drives are too easily lost or damaged! Remember that you can always store your files in your Google drive at docs.wfhs.net. Log in with the same username and password that you use to log in to the computers on campus. If it doesn't work when you try it, try changing your password and trying again.

Welcome to your Jaguars Apps. WFHS students now have access to online E-mail, Calendar and Documents library. Your username and password are the same that you use to log on to the computets here at the school. Click on http://start.wfhs.net to check it out. You will have to change your password to log in to the computers here on campus first before you will be able to log in to Google apps. After that change, your password will be synchronized between Google and WFHS. To change your password, simply press CTRL + ALT + DEL at the same time and select the "Change a password" option. The e-mail service has been temporarly blocked while at school. You can still access your Documents and Calendar.
